About the course
This double degree prepares you to teach Years 7–12 while developing strong discipline knowledge in the arts. You will select two teaching areas and build skills in curriculum, pedagogy and classroom practice, including lesson planning, assessment and student management. The program includes 80 days of supervised professional experience and opportunities to broaden experience in varied school settings. This is an undergraduate Education & Teaching qualification. The programme develops classroom practice, curriculum knowledge, and educational psychology for teaching professions.

Graduates are prepared for education-focused roles in schools and related settings, with a primary pathway to secondary school teaching across chosen subject areas. Career options may include secondary school teacher, private tutor, teacher of English overseas, education consultant or policy analyst, and roles in community education centres or youth support.
