About the course
This Bachelor of Education Primary prepares you to teach in primary settings by building strong foundations in curriculum, child development, inclusive practice, classroom management and student wellbeing. You can study full-time or part-time, on campus or online, with professional placements completed in schools (including close to home for online study). The degree develops evidence-informed teaching practice for primary education at bachelor level. The programme develops classroom practice, curriculum knowledge, and educational psychology for teaching professions.
Career outcome
Graduates are prepared to work as primary school teachers for Transition to Year 6/7, with eligibility to seek teacher registration across Australian states and territories (subject to meeting additional requirements). The course can also support careers in related education roles such as curriculum development, educational planning, education research and policy development.
