About the course
The Bachelor of Education (Primary and Secondary) prepares you to teach across primary and secondary schooling, from early years through to Year 12. You build strong foundations in key primary curriculum areas while developing a specialist secondary teaching area. The course includes substantial supervised school-based experience and focuses on inclusive, evidence-informed pedagogy to meet diverse learner needs. This is an undergraduate teaching qualification in Education & Teaching.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue teaching roles across primary and secondary schools and may work in government, independent, Catholic or other faith-based settings (subject to registration). The dual-sector preparation also supports work in inclusive education environments and broader education-related roles such as community or learning-centre education, private colleges, and education policy or program support.
