About the course

This double degree combines economics and actuarial studies to build strong analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills for understanding markets, policy and financial risk. You’ll study core economics and actuarial units while tailoring electives to your interests, with opportunities to apply learning through internships and industry-connected experiences. It’s a four-year undergraduate program blending economics and actuarial science. The programme introduces accounting standards, taxation basics, and financial reporting for professional accreditation pathways.

Career outcome

Graduates can pursue roles where economic insight and risk modelling are valued, including actuarial and analytics positions in insurance, banking and superannuation, as well as economic and policy analysis in government and consulting.
