About the course
This Bachelor of Design focuses on regenerative design, combining creativity with sustainability and innovation to tackle real-world challenges. You’ll build technical, visual and strategic design skills through studio-based learning and cross-disciplinary projects. The course is structured around design foundations, collaborative social practice, and systems and futures, with place-based learning in Tasmania and industry/community engagement. This is an undergraduate design degree.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles across contemporary design fields where sustainability and systems thinking are valued. Career pathways may include product and service design, user experience and experience design, design strategy, social and community-focused design, and creative roles supporting circular economy and regenerative innovation. The degree also builds a foundation for work with industry, government and organisations on climate, health and social innovation projects. This is a bachelor-level qualification in design.
