About the course
This UX and interaction design major within Swinburne’s Bachelor of Design focuses on designing digital products, services and interfaces with strong user-centred thinking. You’ll build skills in research, prototyping and evaluating experiences across web, mobile and emerging platforms, while developing creative and technical design capabilities. The course prepares you for professional practice in design as a Bachelor-level qualification in UX and interaction design. The programme develops design, animation, visual storytelling, and digital media production for creative industries.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles designing and improving digital experiences across agencies, startups and in-house product teams. Typical pathways include UX designer, interaction designer, UI designer, service designer, user researcher and digital product designer, working on websites, apps and cross-channel services.
