About the course
This degree combines QUT’s fashion design program with an additional year of international study at a partner university, building global perspective and employability. You’ll develop your design identity through studio projects and real-world briefs, supported by industry-standard facilities and mentors. The course also engages contemporary issues such as sustainability, ethics, industry practice and emerging digital technologies in fashion at bachelor level. The programme develops design, animation, visual storytelling, and digital media production for creative industries.
Career outcome
Graduates are prepared for fashion design and related creative roles that benefit from international experience and networks. Career directions can include fashion designer, product or range developer, apparel designer, fashion creative/consultant, styling and brand roles, and work across design studios and fashion labels. The international study year supports global industry awareness and opportunities in the fashion sector at bachelor level. Preparing graduates for graphic design, multimedia production, advertising, and creative studio roles.
