About the course
This double degree combines interaction design with an accredited engineering honours program. You will build skills across user-centred design and creative practice alongside core engineering knowledge, with a structured study plan across 480 credit points. Work Integrated Learning is embedded, including 60 days of approved engineering work experience to develop professional competencies. This is a Bachelor Degree / Honours Degree in design and engineering. The programme combines engineering fundamentals, design projects, and industry-ready technical problem-solving skills.
Career outcome
Graduates are prepared for roles spanning interaction design and professional engineering practice. Career paths may include UX/UI and service design roles, product and systems design, and engineering positions in industries where human-centred technology, prototyping and digital experiences are critical. The engineering component is Engineers Australia accredited, supporting broader employability and international recognition. This is a Bachelor Degree / Honours Degree in design and engineering.
