About the course
This Bachelor of Design (Game Development) builds specialist skills in the theory and production of games, with learning that combines online and on-campus study. You’ll study within the Faculty of Arts and Design and develop capabilities to design and create interactive game experiences for a range of platforms and audiences. This is an AQF Level 7 undergraduate qualification in game development design. The programme develops design, animation, visual storytelling, and digital media production for creative industries.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles in the games and interactive media industries, applying design and development skills to create engaging digital experiences. Career paths may include game designer, level designer, gameplay/interaction designer, or roles in prototyping and production across studios and digital teams. This is an undergraduate Bachelor-level preparation for professional practice in game development and design.
