About the course

UNE’s Bachelor of Criminology explores crime and society’s responses, examining causes of offending and approaches to prevention. You’ll study topics such as policing and punishment, rural crime, victimology, and practical methods including criminal profiling and links to forensic science. The degree builds critical thinking, analysis and problem-solving skills for contemporary criminal justice contexts in a Bachelor-level criminology discipline. The programme builds legal reasoning, case analysis, and professional ethics for legal practice and public service pathways.
