About the course
This Honours year lets students undertake an in-depth research project in a chosen creative discipline such as Creative Arts, Dance or Performance Making. You’ll refine a research topic and develop advanced practice alongside theoretical and historical inquiry, supported by seminars and a written exegesis or thesis. The course may include industry placement or an international study tour, preparing graduates for professional practice in the performing arts. The programme develops design, animation, visual storytelling, and digital media production for creative industries.

Graduates are prepared to contribute to the professional creative and performing arts sector through advanced practice and research capability. The Honours experience supports pathways into roles involving performance-making, creative development and project work, as well as opportunities in arts organisations, independent practice and further postgraduate study.
