Deakin’s Bachelor of Creative Arts builds your creative practice while developing adaptable, critical and entrepreneurial skills for contemporary creative industries. You can major in areas such as dance, photography, theatre, visual arts or writing, and tailor your studies with complementary minors or a second major. You’ll collaborate in specialist studios and performance spaces and can pursue internships and industry-linked opportunities in a Bachelor-level creative arts degree.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue careers across the arts and entertainment sector, including roles in live performance (theatre and dance), visual arts practice, photography, writing and related creative production. The degree also supports pathways into creative industries such as media, communications and screen-based work, with opportunities to build a freelance or independent practice.
