About the course
This double degree combines creative practice with professional legal training, linking the arts, media and law to support careers defending free press and artistic expression. You’ll build a comprehensive grounding in legal principles and the ethical and social contexts of law while developing practical legal skills through an integrated skills program and internship. In Creative Arts, you develop discipline-specific creative and theoretical capabilities in a Bachelor-level programme.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue legal and policy careers with a creative industries and media perspective. Potential pathways include solicitor or barrister roles, government and diplomacy positions, policy and research work, and specialist practice areas such as intellectual property and media law. The combination of creative arts capability and accredited legal training supports work across private practice, community legal centres, and arts/media-related organisations at Bachelor degree level in Law. Preparing graduates for legal practice, paralegal, compliance, and public sector legal support roles.
