About the course
Develop practical counselling knowledge and skills to support people’s mental health and emotional wellbeing. This degree explores counselling theories, positive psychology, communication and relationship skills, family counselling, crisis intervention, grief and loss, and cultural diversity. You’ll study via blended learning with peers and learn ethical, client-centred practice designed to prepare you for professional accreditation as a counsellor in a Bachelor-level counselling qualification.

Graduates can pursue roles across community and human services where counselling and wellbeing support are needed. Career pathways may include counsellor roles in mental health services, addiction services, aged care, disability services, child protection, and family and group support settings.
