About the course
This degree builds theoretical and practical foundations for work in community welfare and human services. You’ll develop skills in case management, community development, counselling, social research, advocacy and organisational practice, with an emphasis on social justice, human rights and collaboration. Studies cover areas such as mental health, trauma-informed practice, Indigenous worldviews, child protection, youth work and disability, plus substantial professional placements in the welfare sector.
