About the course
This double degree combines communication studies in digital advertising with legal training through an honours law program. You’ll build skills in media and advertising strategy alongside core areas of law, studying both components concurrently before focusing more heavily on law in the later stages. The course includes QUT You units and is delivered across Gardens Point and Kelvin Grove as an undergraduate law and communication qualification. The programme builds legal reasoning, case analysis, and professional ethics for legal practice and public service pathways.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles that blend advertising and media expertise with legal knowledge, such as advertising and marketing communications specialist, account manager, brand or digital strategist, or compliance and policy support roles in media-related organisations. The law (honours) component also supports pathways into legal practice (subject to further requirements) and careers in government, regulation, and corporate legal environments, combining law and digital advertising at bachelor level.
