About the course
This double degree combines communication studies with professional legal education, building skills in media and content creation alongside legal knowledge, reasoning and advocacy. You can tailor the communication component through majors such as digital media, entertainment industries or journalism while completing accredited law studies. The program is delivered across QUT’s Gardens Point and Kelvin Grove campuses as a Bachelor Degree / Honours Degree in communication and law.

Graduates can pursue careers across legal practice and communication-led industries, combining strong legal analysis with media, writing and strategic communication capability. Possible pathways include legal roles in firms, government or corporate settings, as well as work in journalism, digital media, entertainment, public relations, policy and communications advisory positions.
