About the course
This honours year develops advanced creative and communication practice through specialised study, research and an individual major project. You build on prior undergraduate learning, strengthening critical engagement, scholarly research skills and professional practice in your chosen discipline. The interdisciplinary cohort encourages collaboration across areas such as design, media, film, photography and visual arts. This is an Honours qualification in media and creative arts.
Career outcome
Graduates are prepared to work as independent creative practitioners or as part of creative and communication teams, supported by experience in critical feedback and engagement with industry and community arts networks. The honours project and research focus also provides a pathway to further study, including masters-level coursework or research degrees, and potential progression toward a PhD. This is an Honours qualification for careers in media and creative arts. Preparing graduates for graduate employment, professional traineeships, and further postgraduate study.
