About the course
This combined degree lets you graduate with a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and a Bachelor of Modern Languages in about 5.25 years (5.5 for Chemical Engineering). You build a broad engineering foundation in your chosen specialisation while developing high competency in one language and functional competency in a second. It is designed to strengthen global employability through technical capability and intercultural communication at bachelor/honours level. The programme combines engineering fundamentals, design projects, and industry-ready technical problem-solving skills.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue engineering careers across industry while leveraging language and cultural expertise for international and cross-border work. Roles may include engineering positions in consulting, resources, infrastructure, technology and manufacturing, as well as project or stakeholder-facing work requiring multilingual communication.
