About the course
This four-year degree develops specialist knowledge in how exercise can improve health and wellbeing and be used to prevent, rehabilitate or manage chronic disease, injury or disability. You’ll build skills to assess clients and prescribe and deliver evidence-based exercise programs, and complete substantial clinical placement (514 hours). This Bachelor degree focuses on clinical exercise physiology within sports science and allied health practice. The programme develops clinical skills, patient care fundamentals, and health sciences knowledge for registered practice pathways.
Career outcome
Graduates are prepared for work in clinical exercise and allied health settings supporting people with chronic disease, injury and disability through tailored exercise interventions. Career pathways include roles as an accredited exercise physiologist (AEP) and related positions in rehabilitation, community health, hospitals, private clinics and sport/performance services. This Bachelor degree supports careers in clinical exercise physiology and sports science services.
