About the course
This vertical double degree combines business fundamentals with postgraduate-level strategic design to develop leaders who can drive innovation and strategic decision-making. You’ll build skills in business operations and strategy alongside human-centred and critical design thinking, supported by industry-linked projects and capstone experiences. Complete both qualifications in an accelerated four-year structure across QUT’s Gardens Point and Kelvin Grove campuses.
Career outcome
Graduates are prepared for roles that connect business strategy with design-led innovation across private, public and not-for-profit sectors. Career pathways may include strategic designer, design strategist, innovation or transformation consultant, service designer, product or customer experience (CX) strategist, and business analyst in design-driven teams. This combined bachelor-to-master pathway supports progression into leadership positions in business and strategic design. Preparing graduates for senior management, consulting, entrepreneurship, and organisational leadership roles.
