About the course
This double degree combines business knowledge with specialist professional communication skills. You will study both components concurrently, completing business core units plus a chosen business major, alongside communication core units and a professional communication major, with additional QUT You option units. The course is designed to build capability in organisational, media and stakeholder communication alongside broad commercial skills in a Bachelor-level programme focused on business and communication.

Graduates can pursue careers that blend business and communication expertise across private, public and not-for-profit sectors. Roles may include corporate or strategic communications, public relations, marketing communication, media and content roles, stakeholder engagement, social media management, or communication roles within business functions such as HR, management and international business. Outcomes align to a Bachelor-level pathway in business and media/communication. Preparing graduates for business analyst, management trainee, marketing, and operations entry-level roles.
