About the course
This vertical double degree fast-tracks you to graduate with both a Bachelor of Biomedical Science and a Master of Data Science in four years. You’ll build strong foundations in biomedical disciplines such as genomics, molecular biology, anatomy and physiology, while developing advanced data science capabilities including data mining, statistical modelling and analytics to tackle complex healthcare and medical research problems in an undergraduate-to-masters pathway in biomedical science and data science.
Career outcome
Graduates can work at the intersection of biomedical science and analytics, using data-driven approaches to support health and medical research. Roles may include biomedical data analyst, bioinformatics or health data specialist, research assistant/officer, data science practitioner in healthcare, or analytics roles in hospitals, labs, government and biotech. This combined bachelor-and-masters qualification prepares you for data-intensive careers in biomedical science and healthcare.
