About the course
This degree explores how and why people think, feel and behave, building a foundation in psychological science and its real-world applications. You’ll study human development across the lifespan, motivation and emotion, personality, and behaviour change, and examine areas such as cognitive, social, perceptual, physiological, intercultural, Indigenous and abnormal psychologies. The Bachelor of Behavioural Science (Psychology) provides an accredited three-year sequence in psychology.
Career outcome
Graduates can apply psychological knowledge and research skills across community and health settings, education and training organisations, disability support, and people-focused roles in workplaces. Career pathways may include community work, disability support officer roles, research assistance, and training and development, as well as roles in health and education services and human resource management. The Bachelor of Behavioural Science (Psychology) is an accredited undergraduate pathway toward further study in psychology.
