About the course
This four-year double degree combines criminology and psychological studies to help you understand criminal behaviour, motivations and the systems that respond to crime. You’ll explore policing, offending and the criminal justice system alongside key psychology theory and clinical perspectives, building insight into human behaviour and emotions. The course includes a fieldwork placement unit to apply learning in practice in a Bachelor-level criminology and psychology qualification.
Career outcome
Graduates are prepared for roles that draw on criminology and psychology knowledge across justice and community settings. Pathways may include work in policing and corrections environments, court and justice support services, victim support and advocacy, community and youth programs, case support roles, and policy or research assistance in government and not-for-profits. This Bachelor-level double degree supports careers bridging criminology and psychology-informed practice.
