About the course

This double degree combines psychology and visual communication design to help you understand human behaviour and apply design thinking to create user-centred solutions. You’ll study core psychology and design units, build research and data skills, and develop creative and digital capabilities for real-world contexts. You graduate with two qualifications in four years of full-time study in Psychology and Design & Visual Art. The programme explores human behaviour, research methods, and applied psychology for community and organisational settings.

Career outcome

Graduates can work where behavioural insights and design intersect, creating evidence-informed visual and user experiences. Career paths include brand strategy, digital marketing analysis, social impact design, learning design, and roles improving healthcare environments and technologies through human-centred design.
