About the course
This dual degree combines professional journalism training with the breadth of a Bachelor of Arts. You’ll develop core reporting and storytelling skills across writing, photography, audio, video and interactive digital platforms, using contemporary software and equipment. Alongside journalism practice, arts study builds critical and creative thinking to broaden your capability portfolio. This is a 4-year undergraduate program in media and communication. The programme develops media literacy, content creation, and professional communication skills for digital and corporate environments.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles across digital and traditional media, including reporting, multimedia production and content creation for web and multi-platform publications. The combined Arts component supports careers that value strong communication and critical thinking, such as marketing, public relations and organisational communications.
