About the course
This double degree combines politics and international relations with communication and media, building understanding of government, policy and global affairs alongside media practice and analysis. You’ll study in UC’s business, government and law faculty and engage with arts and communication disciplines, developing skills to interpret political environments and communicate effectively across platforms. It is a 4-year bachelor qualification in politics/international relations and media communication.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles connecting public affairs and media, such as communications officer, media adviser, public relations or digital content roles, policy and government relations support, and work in NGOs or international-focused organisations. The combined program supports careers where analysing political issues and communicating to diverse audiences are both essential. It is a 4-year bachelor qualification preparing graduates for politics/international relations and media communication careers.
