About the course
This dual program combines human movement and nutrition sciences with arts study to build analytical and creative skills for improving health outcomes. You’ll explore physical activity, exercise, sleep and nutrition across the lifespan and their roles in chronic disease prevention and performance. Alongside this, you choose from a wide range of arts study areas to broaden capabilities and career pathways in a Bachelor-level program focused on health and society. The programme develops clinical skills, patient care fundamentals, and health sciences knowledge for registered practice pathways.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles supporting health and wellbeing across community, government and private sectors. The program prepares you for work related to health promotion, behaviour change support and program or policy development, drawing on knowledge of nutrition and physical activity across the lifespan. Skills from arts study broaden pathways into education, consultancy, public service, research support and roles in organisations focused on improving population health through a Bachelor-level sports science and health-oriented degree.
