About the course
This Bachelor of Arts majoring in Creative Writing develops your skills in writing and reading across creative forms, with opportunities to refine voice, craft and technique through structured study. You’ll explore storytelling, language, and contemporary writing practice while building critical and cultural understanding typical of an arts degree. The program is delivered on campus and can be studied full-time or part-time as an undergraduate arts qualification. The programme combines disciplinary knowledge, applied learning, and graduate competencies for professional career entry.
Career outcome
Graduates may pursue writing and communication roles across creative industries, publishing, media, arts organisations and community settings. The major supports pathways into professional writing (fiction, nonfiction and emerging forms), editing and content development, as well as roles that value strong narrative and analytical skills such as marketing and communications.
