About the course
The Bachelor of Theology (Honours) is a one-year program for high-achieving students who have completed a Bachelor of Theology (or equivalent). You undertake an in-depth study area in theology or biblical studies and complete a focused research project under one-on-one supervision with internationally recognised staff. The course strengthens advanced research, writing and problem-solving skills through honours-level study in theology. The programme combines disciplinary knowledge, applied learning, and graduate competencies for professional career entry.
Career outcome
Graduates may pursue roles in education and faith-based or community organisations, including teaching, church agencies and ministries, chaplaincy, community building and pastoral work. The degree can also support pathways into journalism, media, administration and public relations where strong research and communication skills are valued.
