About the course
This honours Bachelor of Arts in Western Civilisation focuses on influential texts, ideas and cultural traditions that have shaped the West, with a major in English Literatures. You will build critical reading, writing and research skills through close study of literature and its historical contexts, preparing you to engage thoughtfully with contemporary debates. The degree is delivered on campus at Wollongong as an undergraduate honours programme in Arts & Humanities. The programme develops classroom practice, curriculum knowledge, and educational psychology for teaching professions.
