About the course
QUT College’s General English Program (25 Weeks) helps international students build practical English for study, work and everyday communication. You’ll develop reading, writing, speaking and listening in small, interactive classes with task-based activities and regular progress monitoring. The course supports confidence and fluency and can prepare you for further English pathway study. This is a non-award English language program in English & Modern Languages. The programme develops education knowledge and teaching-related skills aligned with its qualification level.
Career outcome
On completion, you receive a certificate showing your study length, attendance and exit level, supporting further study applications and demonstrating your English development. The program outcomes focus on improved fluency, accuracy and confidence for social and professional settings, and preparation for further English pathway programs such as EAP. This credential supports progression rather than a specific occupation in English & Modern Languages. Preparing graduates for education-related roles and further study pathways matched to the programme level.
