About the course
ACU’s Bachelor of Arts (Honours) immerses you in a supportive research culture in the National School of Arts and Humanities. You undertake an independent research thesis or a creative project with exegesis/dissertation, building advanced analytical and research capability. The program can include industry engagement and opportunities such as internships or field trips, strengthening pathways into further research study. This is a one-year honours qualification in arts and humanities.
Career outcome
Graduates may pursue roles across creative industries, government and the public sector, education, and the non-profit community sector. The honours year strengthens research, writing and critical analysis skills suited to research assistant and policy-related work, as well as preparation for higher degree research pathways. Outcomes also support entry into academic and applied research settings where advanced humanities and social science skills are valued in this honours arts program. Preparing graduates for graduate employment, professional traineeships, and further postgraduate study.
