About the course
This combined degree lets you pursue two areas of study while building strong analytical, critical thinking and communication skills. You’ll complete a core arts foundation, then choose a major from Arts and Social Sciences and add breadth with a second major or a minor, plus Open Learning Environment units. In your final year you undertake advanced coursework and a substantial real-world project within arts and related disciplines at bachelor level. The programme combines disciplinary knowledge, applied learning, and graduate competencies for professional career entry.

Graduates develop adaptable skills in analysis, research, writing and problem-solving suited to diverse workplaces. Career pathways may include roles in government and policy, communications and media, cultural and creative industries, education support, community and international organisations, research assistance, and business fields requiring strong critical thinking. The advanced final-year project strengthens employability for arts and social sciences roles at bachelor level.
