About the course
This double degree course expands career opportunities and professional practices combining business backgrounds and architectural design experiences. You will learn about major business disciplines and ways to approach and shape the built environment.You will gain an understanding of the interdisciplinary connections between these two rich fields and, upon completion, will be positioned to advance your architectural education through the subsequent 2-year Master of Architecture program, which is required as part of becoming a registered architect, or pursue business pathways with an MBA.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles that connect business and the built environment, including work in architectural and design practices, property and development, construction and project coordination, and related consulting or business functions. The combination supports careers in design-led organisations, built environment enterprises and entrepreneurial ventures, and can also underpin further study toward registration via the Master of Architecture. It is a Bachelor-level qualification suited to architecture and business pathways.
