About the course
QUT’s Bachelor of Architectural Design builds core skills in architectural thinking, design communication and studio-based practice. You’ll learn through hands-on projects and real-world design briefs, supported by academics and industry-connected architects, with opportunities to gain practical experience in professional settings. The course provides a foundation for further study toward professional architect registration in architecture at bachelor level. The programme combines engineering fundamentals, design projects, and industry-ready technical problem-solving skills.
Career outcome
Graduates are prepared for entry-level roles supporting architectural and built environment projects, such as architectural assistant, design assistant or junior building design roles, working with architecture practices, consultancies and development teams.
