About the course
This Bachelor of Applied Science (Exercise and Sport Science) builds skills to design and deliver exercise and physical activity programs that support health promotion, rehabilitation and sports performance. You’ll study exercise science alongside complementary options such as physical activity and health, and apply learning through professional fieldwork in community settings. It is a three-year undergraduate degree focused on exercise and sport science practice. The programme develops clinical skills, patient care fundamentals, and health sciences knowledge for registered practice pathways.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles applying exercise science to health, rehabilitation and performance settings. Career pathways include exercise science support in community health programs, injury recovery and return-to-activity planning, healthy ageing initiatives, and sports performance environments (including support for athletes and teams).
