Agribusiness and Agricultural Science (Extended Major)

About the course

This extended major combines agricultural science with practical business and management skills to help you address challenges in sustainable food and fibre production. You’ll explore how farming systems, markets, and supply chains connect, and develop capability to make evidence-based decisions in agribusiness contexts. The extended major is designed for undergraduate study in Agriculture Science at UWA. The programme develops laboratory techniques, scientific writing, and analytical methods for research and industry settings.

Graduates can pursue roles across farming enterprises, agribusiness firms, and agricultural supply chains, applying scientific and commercial skills to improve productivity and sustainability.
