About the course
La Trobe's Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education allows early childhood educators to upgrade to an Early Childhood Teacher qualification.This course is designed to fit with your working life - it's delivered online with no on-campus attendance required, so you can combine your work in early childhood with flexible studies.This two-year program includes 180 credit points of advanced standing for the Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care and relevant work experience. You will complete a further 60 credit points for the Associate Degree qualification.
Career outcome
Graduates will be well placed to find work in early learning centres, kindergartens, preschools and early intervention programs. Preparing graduates for teacher aide, early childhood support, and education assistant roles, or degree articulation.
