About the course
This associate degree prepares you to work as a paralegal with practical knowledge of the Australian legal system. You’ll build skills in legal research and writing, study foundational areas of law, and can undertake voluntary legal experience or a para-professional placement. An optional Conveyancing major can meet the academic prerequisite to qualify as a conveyancer in NSW. This Associate Degree in Law is also a pathway to further study toward becoming a lawyer. The programme introduces legal documentation, office procedures, and foundational legal knowledge for support roles.

Graduates can pursue paralegal and para-professional roles supporting solicitors and barristers across private practice and the public sector.
