Overview

City, University of London (City) prides itself on having close links with industry and businesses, and almost all degrees offer the opportunity for work or clinical placement and/or a period of studying abroad. Degrees at City have been developed by outstanding academic staff, with the input of employers and leading figures in industry.

The University provides students with opportunities for direct interaction with future employers in order for them to build professional contacts, many of them including previous City alumni. One of these initiatives include a Times Higher Education award-winning mentoring program, which pairs second or third-year students with professionals to advise them about employability over a six-month period.
