How do I know if a course is recognised/accredited?

Professional bodies in home country usually state which universities and courses they recognise on their website. In particular, if students have completed professional degrees such as Medicine and Law, they may need to fulfil additional requirements if the qualification is obtained overseas.

Recognition

Universities worldwide are recognised by employers for their achievements in different area of studies.

If you have identified an employer you wish to work for in the future, it may be worthwhile to do an internship in the company to find out which degree is recognised.

If you have yet to identify the employer you wish to work for, most university and subject rankings include employer reputation review as part of the assessment process and this will allow you to assess if the course may be recognised.
