About the course

In this Foundation Studies course, students will learn the fundamentals of University-level study in the disciplines of creative writing, professional writing and editing, in order for them to bridge the gap between high school and university.

What you might learn

Core subjects such as applied linguistics and speech, hearing and language sciences will be undertaken for the duration of your studies. At the end of the course, students should have met the entry requirements to an undergraduate degree and be able to achieve success in their future studies.

Upon graduating from this program, you may be employed in roles such as interpretor, translator, proofreader, language tutor, editor, copy writer, and etc. in companies including Random House, Penguin Books, BBC, McCann, SAGE Publications, and etc.
