About the course

In this Graduate Certificate course, you will develop particular expertise in education or teaching english to speakers of other languages (TESOL) within your choice of 4 units. Upon successful completion, you may transfer to the Graduate Diploma and subsequently enrol in the Masters degree with half a year of credits (if applicable).

What you might learn

During the course, you will enrol into subjects such as educational research, preparing and implementing syllabus, special education (autism) and mental health education. This will enable you to build on skills from your previous studies or enhance your skills in your current employment.

Upon graduating from this program, you may be employed in roles such as education researcher, learning designer, primary teacher, career advisor, TESOL teacher, special needs educator, and etc. in companies including local government, local schools, local Universities, daycare centre, kindergarten, and etc.
