About the course
This is a joint PhD program between Monash University and the University of Warwick. You will undertake your doctoral studies through a collaborative arrangement between Monash University and the University of Warwick. At the core of this program is the completion of a substantial research thesis on an agreed topic under the guidance of supervisors from both Monash and Warwick. Your research training will also be further enhanced by professional development activities designed to support you in your academic and professional development as per the program you are enrolled into.
Career outcome
Graduates are prepared for research-focused careers that apply advanced inquiry and analytical skills in universities, research institutes, government agencies, health and community organisations, and industry. Typical pathways include postdoctoral researcher, academic, research scientist/officer, policy or evaluation specialist, and R&D roles. The joint Monash–Warwick structure also supports international research collaboration and mobility across sectors in a PhD-level discipline area.
