About the course
This integrated PhD provides intensive research training in the first year before you progress to an original doctoral thesis in health and sport. You’ll develop best-practice research methods and, after meeting progression requirements, undertake independent research with expert supervision in VU’s Institute for Health and Sport. The program supports dissemination through journals and conferences, culminating in a PhD thesis in health and sport. The programme advances health sciences research through evidence-based inquiry, clinical context, and supervised thesis development.
