The Doctor of Philosophy (Integrated) is a four-year research degree that combines a traditional PhD thesis with an initial year of coursework. You begin with research training and discipline-focused subjects to build advanced research capability, then progress to an extended supervised thesis project. This integrated structure supports development from coursework into independent, impactful scholarship in health and society research within Arts & Humanities. The programme emphasises independent research, methodology, and thesis development aligned with the discipline's scholarly standards.
