Undertake a Doctor of Philosophy focused on exercise science and sport, completing an original research project under expert supervision. Research areas can include physical activity and nutrition, epidemiological and behavioural analyses, muscle and bone physiology, movement analysis, motor skill acquisition and sport performance, and health topics such as obesity, diabetes and cardiovascular disease. This is a PhD by research in Sports Science. The programme advances scientific inquiry through supervised laboratory or field research, data analysis, and thesis-based discovery.
