This doctoral research degree develops advanced capability to generate original knowledge through discovery, theory building or innovative reinterpretation of existing ideas. You’ll undertake a largely research-based program, producing a substantial thesis under academic supervision and supported by university resources and conference opportunities. Graduates demonstrate the ability to conceive, design and complete independent research. This is a PhD/Doctorate by research in design.
